Description

Responsible for collecting Holy Cross Hospital bills from patients and from third parties according to hospital policy.


Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from a specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of routine or critical nature, made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies, and procedures. Is responsible for performing job duties within institutional guidelines.

Hourly Wage Range:  $10.50-$14.00

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years experience in health care environment or equivalent.
• Knowledge of State, Federal and Health Information Portability and Accountability Act.
• Excellent Customer Services skills required.
• Communication & organizational skills required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite software.
