Summary
Title: Registered Nurse
Department: Acute Care Unit
Description: Deliver care to patients in an ACU setting.
Location: Taos, NM - 1398 Wiemer Rd.
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
Shift: 36 hrs/week, 12 hrs/shift, Nights.
Duration: Full-Time
Position Details:
The Registered Nurse is to be clinically competent. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of the ACU Manager and the House Shift Manager. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Holy Cross Hospital is located in Taos, New Mexico. Taos is a friendly county seat located in Northern New Mexico roughly 40 minutes from Colorado's southern border. With clean rural living, we are located just 65 miles from the capital of Santa Fe, NM, 4 hours from Denver and 2 hours from Albuquerque. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
• Graduate from an accredited school or college of nursing required. BSN degree preferred.
• Current State of New Mexico licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• NRP preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• Previous experience on a medical/surgical unit in an acute care facility preferred.
• At least one year experience in an ICU\ACU setting preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of arrhythmias and code blue experience required.
