Employee Health Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

Responsible for administrative support duties of the Employee Health Human program to include accessing information from employee health files, inputing data into spreadsheets, HR system, NMSIS and creating and maintaining files.  Must be able to maintain and handle all confidential information appropriately.  May perform other general support duties, answering phones, filing, scheduling, assisting employees, students, volunteers and leaders.  Must be friendly, customer-oriented, demonstrate a high degree of accuracy with all assigned duties.  Must have basic computer and excel skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years experience in secretarial, office administration, or related field (medical background prefferred).
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teambuilding skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs required.
