Summary

Title: Lead Registered Respiratory Respiratory Therapist

Department:  Cardiopulmonary

Description: Responsible for successfully leading the organizational operations of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

Location: Taos, NM - 1397 Wiemer Rd.

Education: RRT, New Mexico License required.

Shift: Varies

Duration:  Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)

Position Details
Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time, 40 hrs/week, Varied Shifts.
Non-Exempt, Hourly, Bargaining, Benefited Position.

Position Summary

Responsible for successfully leading the organizational operations of the Cardiopulmonary Department. Performs leadership duties including hiring, training, and the day-to-day leading of the Cardiopulmonary staff. Develops educational objectives and provides training for cardiopulmonary. Manages the financial aspects of the department with the Director of Patient Care Services and directs the quality assurance activities. Collaborates with the medical staff, department directors and managers, and administration in matters relating to respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RRT, New Mexico license.
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS required. PALS & NRP preffered.
• Prior experience or on-the-job training required.
