Jamie MiceliEmployee Testimonial
When asked if Jamie had seen many changes over the years she chuckled and remembered when the doctors could smoke at the nurse’s station at the old hospital. She has worked in many departments including: Med surge, OB, ICU and House Manager she says it has provided a good experience.
I’ve always really felt at home in Taos. It seemed like a good place to raise my child. Holy Cross has always been really good to its employees. I’ve felt it has always been really good to me, appreciated and like I could grow here; and I still feel it. I just felt very comfortable and never had any need to go elsewhere. I’ve just been very content. Now I really like working as a house supervisor. But, there have been major changes, quite a few of them in a short amount of time and it is difficult
Change at such a rapid pace is new to healthcare. I don’t ever remember so many major changes in a fairly short amount of time we’ve had bed closures and department closures. We have to look at the positive side of things and try to be optimistic. And, the grass is not greener on the other side, I really don’t think that if I left Holy Cross and went elsewhere it would be better. I think I would realize there are a lot of good things at Holy Cross.
